When I first started editing Lim's wiki article, I realised that there were sections below such as:
"Questions about Communism" "Description of Lim Chin Siong's politics from declassified British documents"
Which I felt doesn't quite add to the article. I've beefed up the parts concerning his life (from early years to later years), and will modify the section on "Legacy" instead to discuss the "communism" part.

In the box at the top right corner of the wiki article on Lim Chin Siong it states that he was known for communist activities and that he belonged to the Malayan Communist Party. None of those claims are true.
The amazing thing is further down the wiki article details that the British scholars who wrote the book 'Comet in our Sky' proved that there was no evidence that Lim was a communist according to de-classified British documents.
The wiki article on the People's Action Party is also inaccurate in that it does not mention that Lim Chin Siong was a co-founder of the PAP with Lee Kuan Yew and that he was one of the first three Singaporeans to be elected as PAP members of Parliament.
Attempts to change the information on the PAP wiki site have quickly been taken off. There is a real bias of Wiki to make Lee Kuan Yew look good, even though it is well documented that he tortured and destroyed the lives of many good Singaporeans based on false claims of being Communists. It is very sad to see Wikipedia going along with such evil.
Your style is not excatly that of a level observer. You should try to see the articel from both sides of the table, not just one side. Gengleong ( talk) —Preceding undated comment added 13:33, 11 July 2010 (UTC).
Lim Chin Siong is a socialist, not a communist. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 222.164.234.63 ( talk) 19:24, 21 May 2016 (UTC)

Lim Chin Siong was wrongly accused of saying "Pa Mata" by Lim Yew Hock's government in 1956. He might have been wrongly accused of many other things as well. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 138.75.154.12 ( talk) 14:45, 26 August 2016 (UTC)
I find it weird for some "thinkers" to interpret Lim Chin Siong's effort to calm the people as an attempt to incite unrest. The instruction given by Lim was clear: Do not beat the police. "Sometimes a Cigar Is Just a Cigar" - Sigmund Freud

Like many of the users said above, I wasn't satisfied with Lim's wiki article. His character and history is so complex - yet in the article he was written off as just an "influential politician". He was more than that. I've been making a series of edits and additions to the article and will continue to do so for the rest of Aug 2016. -- Owentan ( talk) 10:17, 21 August 2016 (UTC)
The Article's first line states that Lim Chin Siong dies in 1996
However in the section 'Later Years' he is mentioned to have dies in on 4 February 2017. That is in fact the date his earlier comrade Fong Swee Suan died.
