The INN appears to be levosalbutamol (see first result of Google search for "levalbuterol inn"... it's Martindale, but I can't access it directly since I don't have a login). -- Galaxiaad 19:32, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
R and S enatiomers are used in chemistry.

This is a very strongly worded line for a Wikipedia entry. While most studies have shown little/no difference in efficacy, there are instances where it might be superior over albuterol (need for frequent doses of a beta2 agonist.)
That line is a quote from one study. Here are studies that do not quite support that line:
