Writing on the wall was not initiated nor by the death of John Lennon neither by the existance of the Beatles. The wall was a wall of complains and of poetry first. ondra ( talk) 10:41, 11 March 2010 (UTC)
I have removed the following sentence from the article:
I do not believe that the claim is accurate. Yes, it was repainted a few years ago. But it is still (legally, as far as I know) used for Lennon/Beatles/peace-related graffiti, and still an attraction of Prague. - Mike Rosoft 14:24, 12 Oct 2004 (UTC)
It was repainted by the owner, the order. There is nothing to see there now. Jan Vano, 11.11.2004
The wall was repainted several times. In few days the pictures (of Lennon, Yellow Submarines, flowers, etc) are always back.
Please don't delete this page! While this entry may seem insignificant to some, I happened upon it while searching "Prague" and found it intriguing. If the structural issues could be remedied, I would vote for maintaining the entry. Scout1986 ( talk) 13:46, 15 June 2011 (UTC)Scout1986
