I keep re-inserting Blockland into this article- If I was shown something, and later went on to make a large production from it (Like, say, a movie from a book/screenplay) I'm sure the original source would get some mention.

Please, do not remove Blockland's fair and due mention from this article again. Any further removal will result in arbirtation/administrative injunction.

Both Lego Universe and Blockland are not the same thing, they are different. In fact the first idea was not created by Blockland. It was created by LEGO Media in the late 1990's. Lego did indeed have the idea for a virtual Lego world, but Blockland made it an MMO. Lego did NOT do MMO before they were shown Blockland. My point is, Lego had virtual building. They saw Blockland. Then Lego did MMO. Coincidence? Not a chance. Why else would they show interest? I have previously contacted LEGO (by e-mail) and they have given me info that I easily proved false. This was about a different subject, but I found that they were wrong. I replied telling them and they said sorry, but they don't have access to that information. I don't trust LEGO customer support beyond things they usually deal with. The correct notation of the word "LEGO" is in all capital letters. All copyrights of the LEGO Group, and its name, use full capitals. Be careful not to reveal any information that was released through the Alpha or Beta tests. Before joining them, testers had to sign an agreement of non-disclosure, which prohibits you from giving information to any external person or group. I noticed the quality-scale for WikiProject Lego and WikiProject Video games is "Stub-class". I think it's far from "Stub-class"; at least it's a "C-class" or "Start-class". Also, the importance scale for both WikiProjects is "Low". I think that the External links section should only list official websites and websites that have official content that is not available anywhere else (like the CES 2010 video). Although they do look like good sites, this section seems be becoming a list of fansites looking for free publicity. However, if a site DOES have something useful like LU History on my site, it should remain. Also, that Lego Unvierse History based 95% on the Great Minifig Mission. The only parts that aren't are the excape from Crux (which was hinted at anyways) and the BM(Before Maselstrom) and AM(After Maelstrom). I understand what you're saying. In the history part of your site, a few things are mentioned that have not be released outside of the Beta (names, not concepts). As of now, that can't be determined as the release date wasn't (nor has it been since) revealed at the time of the delay. Also, the pre-order itself wasn't supposed to open on March 15th; new information about it was going to be revealed then. 96.61.79.211 ( talk) 00:12, 12 May 2010 (UTC)

Follow-up to this but blogs are self-published sources and are generally not reliable enough. I have removed the references to this blog, this blog and this one (an anonymous blog making a guess as to a possible twitter account is two levels of unreliability. Also, their additions to the beta section directly contradict the press release by the company (which opened beta testing at CES, an industry trade show, not just to when some bloggers found about it). -- Ricky81682 ( talk) 07:21, 21 June 2010 (UTC)

I believe that the Lego Universe article should be semi-protected because of the amount of uncitable additions made to the page. Most of this additions stem from the currently active Beta Test of Lego Universe. Due to the NDA in place, no information from the Beta has been published by a reliable source, and therefore should not appear on Wikipedia. As mentioned on the edit notice talk, any moderately experienced editor should be able to handle this, and semi-protecting the page will solve this problem. Lego Universe page will be semi-protected for one week. This means that only autoconfirmed users can edit the page. If a non-autoconfirmed user would like an edit to be made, they should make a post here on the talk page with the {{ editsemiprotected}} tag so an autoconfirmed user (such as myself) can make the change.
