Are the reinforcing bars made of cast iron (as the rebar article claims) or the more likely wrought iron? Cast iron is not a suitable material for this purpose: it is strong in compression, not tension, as is needed for rebar. Is this a translation issue? Andy Dingley ( talk) 00:50, 26 October 2016 (UTC)
