I concur with the renaming of the original page to Law enforcement (disambiguation). There really should be an article entitled "Law enforcement". The Transhumanist 15:49, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

This section makes no sense whatsoever to the average reader. Is there one of those svg scripts (like the ones that say "This section does not cite any references or sources. Please help improve this section by ....") to indicate this to bring it to the attention of someone who can work on this? Regards, Rui ''Gabriel'' Correia ( talk) 17:19, 18 December 2012 (UTC)
I am designing my Senior Seminar in Criminology course this Fall to include a group assignment in which students take one section of an article on policing and work to improve it. Any suggestions for target articles, sub-sections, etc would be appreciated.
We will be working through the WikiEdu.org program, and I believe you can see a link to the course on my User page DoctorKarpiak ( talk) 20:52, 18 July 2018 (UTC)
A discussion is taking place as to whether Portal:Law enforcement is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The page will be discussed at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Portal:Law enforcement until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the page during the discussion, including to improve the page to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the deletion notice from the top of the page. North America 1000 09:38, 27 April 2019 (UTC)
Hello, I was just wondering what others feel about moving all the photos below the first one into a gallery, as they are pushing the page length down unnecessarily.

I have some thoughts on making this Article successful.
1) I believe it should pertain world-wide, not just relegated to the United States or one singular entity.
2) I propose we follow the outline presented in
Outline of law enforcement, then expand upon it in an interesting way.
3) To be useful, the article should differentiate itself substantially from being a copy of the
Police article.
