The map at http://www.cahighways.org/maps/1956-la-mteb2.pdf shows this arterial as an expressway, not a freeway, and to my knowledge the stretch roughly between Manchester Blvd. and Rodeo Drive is NOT built to freeway standards. This article will forever remain a stub, so I will propose eliminating it as soon as I get back from dinner, or maybe tomorrow. The valid information in it can go into Laurel Canyon Boulevard. How does that map show it as an expressway? Solid lines are freeways; dashed lines are expressways. Of course it wasn't built as a freeway, but it was planned as one. -- NE2 19:42, 9 February 2008 (UTC) reply

Oops. I sit corrected. Sincerely, GeorgeLouis ( talk) 00:01, 10 February 2008 (UTC) reply

Proposed merger to Laurel Canyon Boulevard

This is a road that was planned decades ago but never constructed. The article has been a stub for four years, is unlikely ever to be more than that, and the subject is rated "low" on the importance scales of both the U.S. Roads and California Wikiprojects. It's also unsourced, though I suspect that can be fixed without too much trouble. I propose merging it into its own section in Laurel Canyon Boulevard (a relatively short article with plenty of room for expansion) and redirecting there.
