An epoch is a geochronological unit of time. Geochronological units are called Late Imbrian etc. Upper Imbrian indicates that it's a chronostratigraphic unit i.e. segments of rock. During the Late Imbrian epoch the Upper Imbrian series (rock segments) were created. The {{Timeline_Lunar_Geological_Timescale}} is wrong too. --Regards, Necessary Evil ( talk) 23:23, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
Both articles are blue in the chart and can easily be treated within one article, even though they might have distinctive characteristics. BeenAroundAWhile ( talk) 05:54, 27 July 2015 (UTC)
