Now I am a fan of Lasair, but the following is silly...

1. The result is a magical mosaic of sound, as refreshing and as unpredictable as a showery day inside in Aran.
2. generated a very favourable response in Ireland and abroad.
3. here Lasairfhíona conjures up a stirring mixture of song and music in her own individual style
4. A talent well recognized, Lasairfhíona was nominated for a prestigious

Of the following two statements, both can't be right ... it is one or the other

 singer/songwriter deeply rooted in the sean-nós singing style   

VS

 a broad range of contemporary music has influenced her singing.

• I agree, those lines are terrible. One note though, the either or is actually compatiable. Once speaks of her being deeply rooted in the seán-nós singing style, while the other describes her influences. It is possible for seán-nós to be slightly more than just seán-nós, and Lasairfhíona's music doesn't seem purist.-- Theosony ( talk) 18:22, 13 December 2008 (UTC) reply
