I seem to remember having heard on NPR while he was still in Washington that Pressler had at one point been one of the Marlboro Men. Is this accurate? Badbilltucker 01:33, 18 January 2006 (UTC)
Judging from the bombast in this section, Pressler's 2014 media director must have been very busy. The glowing accolades bestowed on the losing candidate here is 5x that found in the article about the winner, Mike Rounds. This should be cleaned up and pared down. Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to 2 external links on

my edit. You may add {{

On 2020-04-01, this included: "He briefly worked as a lawyer before joining the United States Army and serving in the Vietnam War from 1966 until 1968. After returning from Vietnam as a first lieutenant, he served for several years in the United States Department of State as a Foreign Service Officer. [1] He later attended the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and Harvard Law School where he graduated in 1971. [2] [3] In 1970 he became the business manager of the Harvard Law Record. [4]"
It's not credible that he worked as a lawyer without a law degree before joining the Army and serving in Vietnam in 1966-68. I deleted the claim that he worked as a lawyer before joining the Army. DavidMCEddy ( talk) 19:51, 1 April 2020 (UTC)
