Harmon owned Laurel & Hardy? GoodDay ( talk) 01:31, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
Apparently he owned the rights to images of them. I suggest somebody do some research into this. As I'm currently in work, I can't really do it. BigbluePD ( talk) 10:05, 4 July 2008 (UTC) Shucks. I did it myself. There's this link ( http://www.heraldextra.com/component/option,com_contentwire/task,view/id,64060/Itemid,53/) and this one ( http://www.newsfromme.com/archives/2008_07_04.html). Not sure on the reliability, though they seem to be impartial and referring to a pretty important aspect of Harmon's life and career. BigbluePD ( talk) 10:11, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
I find this hard to believe. It looks like vandalism to me. BigbluePD ( talk) 10:04, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
He got some press in 1984 with the slogan “Put a real Bozo in the White House.” Is that worthy of mention in the article? When I heard about it at the time, I recalled Bush 41 and Dukakis recently having called each other’s people “bozo” on the campaign trail. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mark R Johnson ( talk • contribs) 16:52, 24 February 2009 (UTC)

I don't have time to deal with it at the moment, but it looks like there are substantial omissions - such as not mentioning that Harmon had been a Bozo performer prior to buying the rights - that should probably be imported from the Bozo article. -- Nat Gertler ( talk) 15:50, 11 March 2021 (UTC)
