The sentence "From 1962 to 1964, Ross was replaced by vocalist Yolande Bavan because she was awful" has a problem. "Awful" is a subjective statement of opinion. When dealing with facts, nobody is awful unless somebody says they are awful. The link to a relevant article does not hold up this detail. Who was the individual who said being awful was the reason to replace a singer? The linked article in the Los Angeles Times is critical of a performance of a reunited Hendricks and Ross in 1999, and it mentions Ross was replaced by Bevan in 1962, but it gives no specific reason for that personnel change.
