Official Language in Lakhisarai should be Magahi not Maithili

Lakhisarai district of Bihar comes under Magahi speaking area of Bihar. So, why this wiki is showing official language of this district as Maithili? The official language of Lakhisaria district of Bihar should be Magahi. This is important because if Bihar is split even without recommendation of state in future between Purvanchal and Maithilia state then distinction will be important. Bihar currently has 38 districts, but after the division Magadh in Bihar will have only seven districts because two of the Magahi speaking areas of Bihar (Sheikhpura and Lakhisaria) districts of Bihar is incorrectly included in the future map of Maithili state. Dividing state for sake of economic development is fine, but breaking one of the biggest state Bihar with 38 districts to one of the smallest states with only seven districts in India is unacceptable. Sheikhpura and Lakhisarai districts should be included to Magadha in Bihar not to Maithili state because they are mainly Magahi speaking areas not Maithili. Below is the reference that Lakhisarai comes under Magahi speaking area of Bihar.

Merger with Laheriasarai

Laheriasarai and Lakhisarai are located in different districts and should not be merged per the discussion which incorrectly conlcudes that its the same place. Laheriasarai is located in Darbhanga district which is more than 100km from Lakhisarai. Planemad| YakYak 07:51, 8 January 2024 (UTC) reply
