Name of Reservoir

Do we know of a name that may be applied to the reservoir behind this dam? Curiuosly for such a large sheet of water, the Ordnance Survey label it simply as 'reservoir' and retain the name Loch Laggan for the natural waterbody further east up the glen. The Loch Laggan article on WP gives the dimensions of the natural waterbody but suggest that Loch Laggan is retained by this dam. Something is amiss. cheers Geopersona ( talk) 17:23, 4 December 2017 (UTC) reply

Compare also Spey Dam on the upper reaches of the River Spey, not so many miles to the east. The two are part of the same big civil engineering project. No website seems to offer up a name though some simply label the water as 'River Spean' - one could use Laggan Dam reservoir purely as a descriptive term. cheers Geopersona ( talk) 17:41, 23 October 2019 (UTC) reply
