Laakson Palloseura Article

I make the following comments on the Laakson Palloseura article which has previously been proposed for deletion (refer User_talk:90.198.32.58):

1. There is no evidence that there is a club named Laakson Palloseura that is an affiliated club with the Helsingin piiri (Helsinki District) of the Suomen PalloLiitto (Finnish FA) and playing at a “notable level” within the 8 tiers of the Finnish_football_league_system.

2. There is no evidence of a stadium called Laakso Stadion with a supposed capacity of 4,000.

3. There is no evidence of Laakson Palloseura competing in the Kolmonen and finishing 4th in the 2008 or 2009 seasons in any of the 3 relevant sections administered by the Helsinki SPL and Uusimaa SPL.

4. There is no evidence of a website for a club named Laakson Palloseura or any Finnish language related material making reference to a club of this name.

5. LPS is the abbreviation for Laajasalon Palloseura which is a Helsinki based club.

It is quite possible that the author has misinterpreted Laakson Palloseura for Laajasalon Palloseura and I suggest that the position be now rectified by re-directing Laakson Palloseura to the Laajasalon Palloseura page.

Alternatively if there is proven evidence of a club called Laakson Palloseura which meets the “notability” criteria, I would be delighted to assist in developing the article from its current stub status. Finnish Gas ( talk) 20:05, 22 May 2010 (UTC) reply

No evidence of Laakson Palloseura

No evidence has been supplied of a club called Laakson Palloseura. There is not a club named Laakson Palloseura that plays in the Kolmonen or at any other level in the Finnish football league system.

The article refers to LPS and I have re-directed to the club that uses this abbreviation namely Laajasalon Palloseura.
