Reason for two domes?

It seems odd that a British locomotive was given two domes. Is there a reason some of this class were fitted with such? Dinoboyaz ( talk) 22:28, 11 August 2021 (UTC) reply

@ Dinoboyaz: The front "dome" houses L.B. Billinton's top feed arrangement. The rear dome is normal. This system was used on certain members of classes B2x, C2x, C3 and K. -- Redrose64 🌹 ( talk) 19:23, 12 August 2021 (UTC) reply
