L3Harris Technologies Inc. LHX, -1.26% announced Monday an realignment in which it reduced the number of its business segments to three from four. The company said the move follows a portfolio shaping process that began in 2019, and emphasized on 'high-growth, technology-differentiated businesses.' The defense contractor's three segments will be Integrated Mission Systems, Space and Airborne Systems and Communication Systems. The fourth segment that the company had been reporting on previous earnings releases was Aviation Systems.
Harry Harris, a retired Navy admiral who formerly led U.S. Pacific Command, has joined the board of directors at L3Harris Technologies (NYSE: LHX).
L3Harris said it has sold a holographic sighting systems unit called EOTech to privately-held American Holoptics. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed, but L3Harris said the EOTech business generates approximately $60 million in annual revenue.

I'm just not sure how notable this is. The only sources are an incredibly obscure website and "Hall of Shame". Anyone else have any input? Does it really qualify for inclusion in the article? — Frεcklεfσσt | Talk 21:13, 29 November 2023 (UTC)
