Dear @ Evrik:, the correct spelling of his name is László Báthory, the sources of this article confirm this and even the Hungarian version of page, which you had translated to English. I think my edit was an uncontroversial, only technical move. -- Norden1990 ( talk) 17:26, 9 May 2021 (UTC)

Laszlo Bathory →
László Báthory – This is the correct spelling of his name. He was born in Hungary, and also became known for his activities there, and died in Hungary too.
László is a Hungarian variant of Vladislav, while
Báthory family was a prominent noble family in Hungary (it is conceivable that there is only a name relationship, but because of his studies abroad he is likely to be a member of the family). Scholar works (he is relatively unknown outside Hungary), also use the name with accents,

[3],
[4]. His name had different forms (Báthory, Bátori and Báthori), but each uses accents. For the same reason, I also request to rename its derivative article
Bathory Cave to
Báthory Cave.

The article says he was born in 1420, and both served in a military campaign and completed university studies before beginning his hermitage at 17 years old in 1437. Either he was an extremely precocious youth, or some of the dates are wrong. -- 98.22.93.131 ( talk) 18:45, 17 June 2021 (UTC)
