I'm disputing the following phrase in the article:
Aoife was commissioned after funding became available from the European Union when the Irish Exclusive Fishery Zone was extended from 12 nautical miles to 200 nautical miles in 1976.
The European Union wasn't formed under that name until 1993. In 1976, the immediate precursor to the EU, the European Community, is likely what was meant. However, the cited source specifically states "European Union" (even though it is obviously wrong), so I'm not comfortable with changing it unless I can find another source that explicitly says something else.
