Father (not Redskins owner)

Multiple editors have attempted to insert the information that Kyle Snyder is the son of Daniel Snyder, the owner of the Washington Redskins. He is not; this Kyle Snyder's father is Steve Snyder, former offensive lineman for Towson University but not an owner of any sports franchise. That information has appeared in a number of the articles used as citations here, but was not explicitly stated in this article. Consequently, editors repeatedly inserted erroneous information about a relationship to Daniel Snyder. I have added the information on Snyder's parents Steve and Tricia because it is biographical detail and well-sourced, but also to help preclude reintroduction of the false information. I have removed the family section for now since as it was written, it added nothing to the understanding of the subject. Maybe a rewrite would be better. -- Malerooster ( talk) 01:09, 19 March 2014 (UTC) reply

Does this article need a rewrite?

To me, this article seems too long and detailed, and it seems to hype Snyder (rather than take a neutral point of view). For example, the introduction alone is five paragraphs long. In it, we twice read about a fictional "Triple Crown;" we learn one his opponent's nicknames; we learn about one of his opponent's careers; we read about a particular injury in 2017; we learn how much an opponent outweighed him by in 2018; and one sentence tells us that we're reading about a "journey through the history books." Is all this detailed and promotional language useful? -- 783445jjdf ( talk) 22:20, 11 August 2018 (UTC) reply
