I took out the "pitches" section - this is an encyclopedia, not a sports blog. point to some comments from Yankee management if it is widely held.

Don't get me wrong, I think Farnsworth is an atrocious pitcher. But someone needs to substantiate the "pitching" section with verifiable facts, not "widely held beliefs". Can someone dig these up? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.21.176.141 ( talk) 02:29, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
Why Yankees's fan hate him so much?-- 61.224.203.70 06:12, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
I have added a photo of Kyle Farnsworth to the commons.
I forgot how to add them, so I just wanted you to know there is one that was uploaded by me.
I took this picture on June 24, 2007 when the Yankees played at AT&T (then SBC) against the Giants. Junebug2006 ( talk) 22:03, 16 June 2008 (UTC)
It seems like this article is biased towards the Yankees. Farnsworth had a longer tenure with the Cubs than any other team. He was drafted by them in 1994 and spent 6 years in the big leagues there. Yet his time there is just folded into the section "Cubs, Tigers, and Braves". Then his 3 seasons with the Yankees gets its own section. He was part of one of the best bullpens in the NL back in 2001, along with Jeff Fassero and closer Tom Gordon. 147.155.182.23 ( talk) 04:06, 29 July 2008 (UTC)
Can I get some feedback on my trimming this article. Here's the latest cut, which was a redo of some of this set. My first was partially reverted. Did I cut too much, or am I right in thinking that there's too much miscellaneous, extraneous detail for an encyclopedia article? -- Elliskev 23:38, 30 July 2008 (UTC)
Should it be in the piece that Kyle was bitten by one of his bulldogs? It's not a baseball injury, nor is it on his throwing hand...but it is an injury. Nonpoint74 ( talk) 18:24, 17 June 2009 (UTC)
Maybe this is coming out of left field (sorry) but is he any relation to Philo_Farnsworth? HalifaxRage ( talk) 20:57, 7 March 2010 (UTC)
Farnsworth has pitched in the majors for 15 years. There's one or two sentences about each team he played for and then a crazy long and and detailed paragraph about his time with the Mets - a team he spent 5 weeks of a 15 year career with. Major revisions are needed to these sections.
