Confirmation of the opening and closure dates for Kilmaurs is required. I believe it opened in 1873 when the line opened; closed in 1966 when other stations on the line closed. The current station was built in the late 1980s/early 1990s with a new platform. Stewart 23:34, 6 December 2006 (UTC)
To whoever keeps changing the date of closure, do you have a source for this? I am going to revert it to the date given in a published source in the meantime. And any source for the whole 'fireworks and marquee' stuff? I'm not sure the fact that tea and biscuits were served is notable. -- Dreamer84 16:49, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
