Please change the name of this article to "Kiandra Snow Shoe Club" (capitalized first letters), which is its documented name. Viz:

help)Logically, with organized skiing documented at the time of 1861, it's fair to say that some type of organization was occurring. Whether the club was "first" is debatable, since the austral winter comes after the boreal winter. It seem fair to say that it was "one of the first" ski clubs, all founded in 1861 by Norwegians.
