I can't find this road on Google maps. What is the source for that? The end is most certainly at ... whatever the name is of the campground loop road at the state rec area, some 10 miles from Nikiski. One is driving through state lands for several minutes before reaching that road, so it seems unlikely to be "in"Nikiski by any reasonable definition. However, from there you can access the "road" that is the incredibly rough (for driving) trail on the upper part of the beach, maybe that is what is referred to?
I also think the list of "major" intersections in Kenai might be a bit overboard. Oddly, the only one I would consider major has the least information. Bridge Access Road provides access to the tidal flats, the Kenai River boat launch, and Kalifornsky Beach Road, which provides both alternate access to Soldotna and a way to bypass Soldotna entirely if traveling between Kenai and anywhere between Kasilof and or Homer. So, I was just there again yesterday. The road ends at a parking area whose purpose was not clear to me. (EDIT:Just looked it up, it’s clearly the access point for an off-road 4WD trail) The only outgoing road from that point is the access road for the beach and the picnic and camping areas. None of them are marked with road names so I’m still not sure wher this “bay beach road” would be. Beeblebrox ( talk) 20:56, 14 June 2018 (UTC)
