Is the issue in this entry POV? Or is it that she is non-notable?
Could Iamcuriousblue or other editors explain how this article is non-neutral? The way it is written now that I've removed one phrase about her "making an important contribution," it's a stub that has a section about what Barry herself states in her writing. It doesn't really seem slanted one way or the other to me.
What does seem to be an issue to me is that the entry does not establish her notability with three valid, significant third-party sources ABOUT her.
I think she meets the notability requirements of
WP:AUTHOR. I don't see the NPOV tag is justified. With no explanation given by the editor who added the tag, we don't know what he perceived as POV. I suggest we remove the tag in a couple of weeks if there are no objections. --

OK yeah, I would take off both tags in a couple weeks if nobody else objects.
I added the notability tag because I was hoping someone might add something to really establish her notability. I forgot that a NYT book review could be one of the three sources establishing her notability, which would mean the article currently passes notability. It would be better with another independent citation or two about her, though, if anyone is so inspired.

Thanks for adding the references to flesh out her notability. I removed that notability tag, since I was the one who added it. I would also support removing the NPOV tag, but as John B wrote, we should probably wait a couple weeks.

As we have had no further comments I've removed the POV tag - --
