Is Krause's memoirs in an English edition?---- — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.106.208.244 ( talk) 19:05, 23 June 2013 (UTC)
Kierzek, I think there is a misunderstanding here. The current version of the article says:
“ | On Christmas Eve 1937, Hitler and Krause sneaked out incognito together for a night in the city. Hitler was not recognized. Krause was reprimanded the following day by Reichsführer-SS Heinrich Himmler for allowing the escapade to go forward without reporting it. | ” |
Why would Hitler allow Himmler to reprimand Krause if it was his idea that Krause should accompany him on this incognito boys night? Doesn't that strike you as a bit odd? It would make sense if Himmler outranked Hitler, but doesn't seem to add up when it was the other way around! Jonas Vinther ( speak to me!) 22:50, 21 February 2015 (UTC)
