Reviewer Note

There is a history of controversy over whether this character should have a separate article or only a list entry, and an article has existed, and has been cut down to a redirect. My judgment as a reviewer is, first, that I will accept this draft, and move the history into the draft position, and, second, any future controversy over whether there should be an article should be decided by a consensus process, such as AFD or RFC, rather than further bold unilateral actions. Kara Danvers (Arrowverse)Kara Danvers – The name originated from the series and was adapted to the comics later to tie-in with the series. However, the original names in the comics have returned since the series ended. Kailash29792 (talk) 09:10, 29 March 2022 (UTC) reply

  • Oppose move. Although the name originated here, it isn't clear that the TV version is the primary topic over the comics' Kara Zor-El. O.N.R.  (talk) 09:47, 31 March 2022 (UTC) reply
  • Support. Six seasons and 126 episodes. Kara Danvers is a name integrated into comics because of the show, and then pushed aside when it ended. Hamzabdul ( talk) 10:40, 1 April 2022 (UTC) reply
  • Support: The nominator put together a compelling argument, and I agree with them. The name originated on the show and from my understanding is no longer used in the comics following the show's cancelation (but I am not sure these two are inherently linked as the comics may be using the Kara Zor-El name for creative reasons, etc.). Since this name is closely tied to this incarnation of the character, the move makes sense. Aoba47 ( talk) 15:34, 3 April 2022 (UTC) reply
