This page needs to be removed or modified. There is no such flag nor does Indian Government allow any such flag

The Kannada flag has been flown at places around Karnataka and is recognised as the unofficial flag of the state. It is flown at various circles and parks of Karnataka especially in Bangalore and during state functions. So this page is essential as the flag is existent and actively used.

"This flag is confusingly hoisted on November 1 on the occasion of Karnataka Rajyotsava which is a state holiday (by some people thinking it a so called State flag,) in many institutions and after hoisting the flag state anthem 'Jaya Bharata Jananiya Tanujate' is sung." The line used as "so called state flag" is mocking the use of the flag in reality. It has to be removed. Adarshkannada ( talk) 16:33, 26 October 2015 (UTC)
I propose that Karnataka flag be merged into Kannada flag. I think that the content in the Karnataka flag article can easily be explained in the context of Kannada flag, and the Kannada flag article is of a reasonable size that the merging of Karnataka flag will not cause any problems as far as article size or undue weight is concerned. Kannada flag is here since 2009, untill last week Karnataka flag was redirected to this article.
