The reference of 28 and 29 of linguistic data under demographic section have clearly stated that Kalimpong district constituting Kalimpong I and Kalimpong II had a population of 251,642 together. Nepali speakers are 67,203 in Kalimpong I and 61,782 in Kalimpong II. So, total 128,985 Nepali speakers (51.25%) out of total 251,642 people in the district respectively (as per 2011 census).
