The article states he won a Clio award for work on a motion picture. Clio awards are for work in advertising. Was his work somehow for an ad for the motion picture?
A search of the online Clio award database clearly indicates that Kai Krause was never awarded a Clio.

Could someone please provide a third-party reliable source reference that Krause is genuinely notable, per WP:BIO? The article says that he was listed in the DEMO conference, but the listed link is dead. Do we have anything like a newspaper or magazine article about him? -- El on ka 01:57, 31 May 2007 (UTC)

There are millions of software engineers, programmers, designers in the world. Many of them design and implement all sorts of programs and tools. Why should there be an article about this particular one?
