I just spent several hours rewriting and reformatting this. I avoided most of the comments I got tempted to insert from working there (since that isn't really verifiable), and would appreciate feedback. IMO, the article had grown unwieldy and had some blatantly false statements in it. -- JS talk 22:56, 22 July 2006 (UTC)
Lisa Verch was Rick Dancer's co-anchor for many years. I believe she got married (in Eugene), moved to Arizona a short time later, and is now on KNXV (ABC affiliate) in Phoenix, AZ. She assumed her married name, Lisa Fletcher (and evidently changed her hair color, too!). Her bio appears on KNXV's website.
Lisa's replacement was Korenza Burris, who actually bears an uncanny resemblance to Lisa (albeit before the hair color change).

Really? No mention in the article of how Rick Dancer left the station to run for Secretary of State on the Republican ticket? And how the station unwittingly (or not so) promoted him as a candidate, and never mentioned his party affiliation? Really? Come on, Eugene. Aren't you up on this shit? -- Ragemanchoo ( talk) 07:51, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
Hello, Please do not add unreferenced names as entries to the list of former employees in articles. Including this type of material in articles does not abide by current consensus and its inclusion is strongly discouraged in our policies and guidelines. The rationales are as follows:
If you look at articles about companies in general, you will not find mention of previous employees, except in those cases where the employee was particularly notable. Even then, the information is not presented just as a list of names, but is incorporated into the text itself (for example, when a company's article talks about the policies a previous CEO had, or when they mention the discovery/invention of a former engineer/researcher). If a preexisting article is already in the encyclopedia for the person you want to add to a list, it's generally regarded as sufficient to support their inclusion in list material in another article. cheers Deconstructhis ( talk) 16:52, 26 April 2011 (UTC)
According to [ this archived homepage from November 8, 2011], the Chambers Media Connection (cmc.net) has been [ out of business] for years now. Accordingly, I will remove the inline external link. Perhaps someone with more knowledge can update the text of that section appropriately? 1980fast ( talk) 04:42, 11 October 2015 (UTC)
Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on

my edit. If necessary, add {{

I don't understand why the section about the Dish Network Dispute is even present. Unless it was noteworthy for being the first dispute of its kind in the nation, it isn't really relevant as these kinds of things happen all the time between television stations and cable/satellite providers during contract negotiations.
Same goes for the Programming section. What exactly is the significance of KEZI airing re-runs of Deep Space Nine and Taxi? Were they the first station to do so? Do they hold some kind of record for airing these shows longer than any other television station? Editz001 ( talk) 17:04, 21 April 2023 (UTC)
