Fair use rationale for Image:LawrenceDurrell Justine.jpg

Image:LawrenceDurrell Justine.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. BetacommandBot 22:44, 5 June 2007 (UTC) reply

plot summary

How on earth does "What I most need to do is to record experiences, not in the order in which they took place -- for that is history -- but in the order in which they first became significant for me" qualify as a plot summary? Why is it even there? john k ( talk) 19:38, 21 August 2008 (UTC) reply

Name

"Justine is narrated by an Englishman, who is not named in this novel, but is named in the later novels of the quartet. "

Err...what is he named in the later novels? If you're going to mention that, you should give the name. john k ( talk) 06:46, 22 December 2009 (UTC) reply

More faux college book reportage

Yet another plot summary and discussion of themes, etc. that reads like an overdone freshman college essay. Let Sgt. Friday be our guide: just the facts, ma'am. I will try to repair the damage at some later date, when i find the time and courage. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.80.6.163 ( talk) 15:42, 30 July 2010 (UTC) reply

Yeah, I tried to tackle some of the dirty work. Could still use a lot more, though. I'll come back to it. -- Accedie ( talk) 05:48, 22 March 2011 (UTC) reply
