“The Americas … missed the eclipse completely (except in most areas)…” – So they all missed it except that most didn't? Doesn't that mean that only a few areas of the Americas missed it?-- Hagman ( talk) 09:57, 29 July 2016 (UTC)
I can't work out what this means, but it seems to be incorrect (it is volcanic ash that has a much more significant effect that "the metropolis"_ Zeimusu | Talk page 02:25, 3 April 2017 (UTC)
According to PAGASA, the presence of pollutants over the metropolis which penetrates the reddish appearance of the moon during the greatest stages of the eclipse and sunlight attracts into the atmosphere in the form of red light in contrast to July 1953 and July 2000 lunar eclipses with the same coloration.
