Highest ranking

The highest ranking stated on this site is incorrect. My highest ranking was #39 in December of 1980. I received this information from the WTA. Jharrington18 ( talk) 06:32, 11 December 2019 (UTC) reply

@ Jharrington18: a) the highest ranking as published by the WTA is 70. If you have another source please provide it here. b) do not edit the article directly. You have a WP:COI. Thank you, ThatMontrealIP ( talk) 17:15, 11 December 2019 (UTC) reply

It is from the WTA, December 1980. I took a photo of the ranking, but I don't see where to attach here. Please advise how to provide to you. Julie Jharrington18 ( talk) 03:29, 12 December 2019 (UTC) reply

I meant December of 1981. So sorry Jharrington18 ( talk) 03:31, 12 December 2019 (UTC) reply
We don't take photos of sources from article subjects, for obvious reasons. If you go to your library, you may be able to find the source there. Everything on Wikipedia has to be WP:VERIFIABLE, which is why we need something we can independently verify. At the moment the independent source we have is the WTA source in the article, which is what we are using. Thanks. ThatMontrealIP ( talk) 05:57, 12 December 2019 (UTC) reply
