I note that this museum and founding family shares its pronunciation with the town of Josselin in France, home of the Duke of Rohan who, during the French Revolution, changed their surname to "Josselin" to avoid identification as a nobleman and thus avoid the guillotine. Are George and Sarah Joslyn related to the Duke of Rohan? In particular I am comparing the fascination with castles of both families; the Duke of Rohan built an impressive castle in Josselin, France and his descendants still live there to this day; the Omaha family built the modern Joslyn Castle folly.
