I edited the part wich claimed he tried to rape a jewish psychologist who interviwed him, because of lack of evidence. The claim presented a link to an article wich didn't confirm it at all, the only thing it said that could relate to it:
"She had talked for six hours to this guy who hated Jews so much that he hid in the bushes and shot at them with a rifle, and he had come on to her, just like that. She shivered at the memory: "He said he wanted some pussy." "
But this isn't rape so I erased it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 200.184.167.11 ( talk • contribs) 18:48, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
I'd like someone to find for this article a picture. Also, what the type of sniper rifle he used for the killings? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.250.130.215 ( talk • contribs)
If you're going to call Charles Manson a serial killer (as this article does), you need to provide some evidence (per WP:RS) that he has killed people. I certainly wouldn't mind seeing such evidence, but doubt very much that it exists. As such, I am removing the Manson reference. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.163.113.201 ( talk • contribs) 19:27, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

The article says that this guy shot President Bill Clinton, not Vernon Jordan. Is this vandalism? William L. Schlotterer 07:21, 16 November 2007 (UTC) I reread it three times. I now understand my mistaken interpretation of what is written. I apologize. William L. Schlotterer 10:47, 16 November 2007 (UTC)
The 'Murders' list/section seems to contain assaults, failed murders and other 'non-murders'. 206.172.238.113 ( talk) 07:58, 31 July 2008 (UTC)
I'm a bit lost at the mention of Franklin falling into the category of a "mission oriented serial killer." I can see how that would apply, but this is just the first time I've ever seen a category like that. 214.13.149.10 ( talk) 07:41, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
He was actually a Domestic Terrorist. Anonymiss22 ( talk) 17:18, 11 August 2019 (UTC)
The opening sentence of the second paragraph, under the "Criminal Career" section, begins with the words "Franklin killed at random." Yet everything in the article seems to suggest quite the opposite. Rather an odd discrepancy. I'm not sure what it should say instead, but definitely something else. KevinOKeeffe ( talk) 21:27, 8 January 2009 (UTC)
It should be noted that while Franklin clearly was a serial killer, in the very limited and technical sense of his having killed more than just one or two people, and having not done so in a single incident, but rather in a "series," I'm not sure the term "serial killer" is a very apt way to describe him. It seems that his socio-political motivation and para-militaristic technique implies a status as something more akin to a lone guerrilla fighter. We don't call the Irish Republican Army "a band of serial killers," after all. I don't see why the mere fact he didn't (apparently) have accomplices alters his status, and makes him akin to psycho-sexual degenerates like John Wayne Gacy and Jeffrey Dahmer. It seems that the term "serial killer" may perhaps be used in this article in order to stigmatize him for his unpopular political views and motive, and is thus non-NPOV. This article has been listed at the BLP board. Can I ask how many murders this "person" was convicted of? TIA -- Tom (talk) 00:52, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
Much of the narrative was copied verbatim from the Joseph Paul Franklin article at Serial Killer Calendar. Editors need to work on changing the language and use RS. Parkwells ( talk) 01:49, 8 May 2012 (UTC)
The article fails to mention when he was caught, in which jurisdiction, and for what crime. Abductive ( reasoning) 14:01, 18 October 2013 (UTC)
Shouldn't his date of death, November 20, 2013 be added to the article because he will die that day? 108.0.244.168 ( talk) 01:40, 19 November 2013 (UTC)
Please refrain from putting links to web site that are commercial sales locations. #25 is case in point. No link in notes should ever be to a book sales site. It isn't a reference! Hesweeney ( talk) 05:04, 4 August 2014 (UTC)
Thoughts on adding the docudrama, covering Joseph Franklin's case, from the television series,
The FBI Files episode title: "Moving Target" to the Media section?
Short description of episode:
A nationwide FBI manhunt for a sniper who targets African-American men, leaving no clues or witnesses.
Thank you,

Also in the reference section on the article from the Southern Poverty Law Center - Murders Price. The correct spelling of the author is Don Terry Not Don Perry. I could not edit the section. Anonymiss22 ( talk) 17:16, 11 August 2019 (UTC)
