The article on Rufus Choate says that he and Bell were brothers-in-law. Which statement is accurate? J S Ayer ( talk) 16:18, 15 January 2021 (UTC)
Wanted to clarify that there doesn't seem to be a (close) blood relationship between Joseph M. Bell and Governor Samuel Bell (New Hampshire politician). Joseph M. Bell's grandfather's name was John Bell and Samuel Bell's father's name was John Bell, but both seem to have close but differing birth years, immigration years, and death years. Relevant sources: Samuel Bell cite and Joseph M. Bell cite. Definitely intrigued if someone finds more information; Londonberry and Bedford are a stone's throw from each other. -- Engineerchange ( talk) 08:46, 21 September 2022 (UTC)
