I think "wiichita" with two "i"s was not the usual spelling? I only see one or two places where two "i"s are used. Main source seems off-line so can only guess. The references that are not in the old "author, year, page" format need to be filled out with title, author, work, date, etc. I can start on some for example. I do not get the pun. This is the English language wikipedia, as I am often reminded. Not the Latin. Is it something like "birds in the leaves"? Not sure what the asterisks were, so removed those. In general the article is fine but perhaps has some irrelevant details.
I assume the question mark is a typo. What is the "Grinnell Naturalists Society"? if there was such a group, it might be discussed in the article as being more relevant than, say, the year Hopkins was established, or how many pages are in various articles. I do see a "Grinnell Society" cited several places, but curious who they are.
And of course is this person related to George Bird Grinnell? The infobox says so, but it is not mentioned in the text and no source is given. And "coronary" just means "having to do with the heart" (although I am not a physician). It is an adjective, not something you die from. In fact if you follow the link to coronary it refers to circulation, which actually keeps one alive. My guess is you mean a heart attack, seems to redirect to Myocardial infarction. answering some of my own questions. The main source is online, so I will add a link to it and include the info. W Nowicki ( talk) 22:02, 1 May 2010 (UTC)
Much improved article. Thank you. A few comments for the record-
That is, most people know what a pun is, but do not speak Latin, and bookplates are not so common any more (I had to look it up, and just uploaded one for William Richards Castle by the way)Grinnell's bookplate: inter folia aves literally means "birds among the leaves"
