here. There is a "Joseph J. Erxleben" in
this old Houston paper] with blurbs about real estate transactions which likely confirms that he resided in Texas. An Ancestry.com
link shows a "Joseph J. Erxleben" in Harris, Texas, with wife of "Anna A. Erxleben" and a possible daughter of "Frances J. Erxleben".
