This article is a hagiography that is unfit of an encyklopidia. Tzench ( talk) 11:14, 21 November 2007 (UTC) No, the article is accurate. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.51.164.248 ( talk) 23:07, 2 April 2011 (UTC)
The classification of Pinochet's government as a dictatorship is backed by numerous academic and other sources. I have inserted two of them. I also point to the article Military dictatorship of Chile (1973–90). If you think the term isn't neutral take your grievances to Talk:Military dictatorship of Chile (1973–90). As long as the article has this name linking to it cannot be a violation of WP:NPOV. -- Girtoste ( talk) 10:41, 23 March 2014 (UTC)

I added an unreferenced section tag with the remark that it reads like a press release, with content-free claims like “solved specific labor problems and strengthened the anti-monopoly law.” I can’t find the text of the original decrees, but there are a few articles that give rather extensive quotes from it with analysis, though from a labor POV (below). My Spanish is pretty poor, so I’m not in a great position to clear this up.
