Hi, this article doesn't seem neutral to me. He broke out for a "monster" season. He "showed he had speed" at the Combine. He "excelled" in high school (no source).
Adding to above, the following language from the first paragraph is not currently true: "He is regarded by sports analysts as being one of the few elite wide receivers in the NFL." All of the citations are to 2014. At best, we can say that he was considered elite in 2014. I would delete and let his undeniable accomplishments speak for themselves without the unnecessary spin. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.71.6.3 ( talk) 03:14, 14 March 2018 (UTC)
I have trimmed a ton of POV-type things from this article, as well as cleaning up the prose. Most importantly, I've removed all the names of non-notable family members from the article as well. Lithistman ( talk) 22:05, 11 October 2010 (UTC)
Shouldn't there be a picture where we can actually see his face? -- 173.51.9.132 ( talk) 04:59, 20 March 2011 (UTC)
I added a clearer photo of him on 3 Aug 2011. Gaby C ( talk) 01:04, 11 August 2011 (UTC)
The image I contributed was deleted for some reason, I have added a different one. I guess an image shot from the stands was preferred over mine? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gaby C ( talk • contribs) 20:12, 2 May 2012 (UTC)
The stat table is corrupt because it is missing column headings like games started games player yards touchdowns. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.2.65.36 ( talk) 19:54, 9 September 2013 (UTC)

change his name to jordy "playoffs" Nelson Edgar123445454 ( talk) 02:23, 14 March 2018 (UTC)
In the "Early life" section, it states, "Nelson was born in Manhattan, Kansas, to Alan and Kim Nelson, farmers who lived in Riley and had season tickets to Kansas State football games.".
Riley is both a county in KS and city in Riley county.
The article https://www.mercurynews.com/2018/04/03/why-the-raiders-bet-the-farm-on-jordy-nelson/ states, "In the middle of nowhere, between the Kansas towns of Leonardville and Riley — combined population 1,412 — sits Nelson Angus Farms."
I believe the first sentence of the "Early life" section should have the word "county" added so it becomes, "Nelson was born in Manhattan, Kansas, to Alan and Kim Nelson, farmers who lived in Riley county and had season tickets to Kansas State football games."
