Relationship to the Bassets

I have rendered more vague the relationship to the Bassets. He is held to be brother of archbishop Fulk de Sandford alias Basset (although the chronology seems wrong, he seems a generation younger), in turn called nephew to Philip Basset, and thus speculated by EB to be an illegitimate son of one of Philip's brothers. Given that Philip had a sister married to nobleman John de Sandford a much more likely alternative presents itself. While as original research this is out of place in the article, at least we can tone down the unwarranted speculation of EB. Agricolae ( talk) 16:28, 17 December 2010 (UTC) reply
