Can anyone explain how this label is applied in this article? Is there an opinion piece outside of Wikipedia that could make this label legitimate. Running twice for president doesn't appear to me to make one perennial. 67.52.60.180 ( talk) 21:25, 1 May 2020 (UTC)
According to The Green Papers, Wolfe placed 10th among Democrats in the primary with 7,369 votes. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.2.38.14 ( talk) 03:37, 7 November 2016 (UTC)

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of John Wolfe Jr.'s orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.
