Very nice article. Very thorough, especially in describing the key opoints of his more career defining involvements. Very well referenced and good use of inline references. Short, but informative. Great job to all the editors!-- Esprit15d 18:19, 2 August 2006 (UTC)

Looking at this one as part of the ongoing FA sweeps, and there are a few things that need some touching up here. There's a few bits of uncited text scattered throughout, I'm not sure that using Johnston's own writings for almost the entire Arlington section is the best way of going about that, and the "not much known" part of "Not much is known of his activities during the war, but he did send a letter to Brigadier-General John Echols that the Order of Heroes of America, was "growing fearfully" in southwest Virginia." is not really supported by the source, which just states that Johnston, a "distinguished lawyer from Abingdon", wrote a letter to Echols on that subject.
