Renaming?
This page used to redirect (sensibly) to
John Stewart, Earl of Mar. Unfortunately, some of the links to "John Stewart, 1st Earl of Mar and Garioch" and "John Stewart, Earl of Mar" were actually referring to the son of
James II, not the son of
James III. So I've used this page for the son of James II. Someone who knows what they're doing (more than me) should probably rename this page and
John Stewart, Earl of Mar to something sensible – they both appear to have been "John Stewart, 1st Earl of Mar and Garioch". —The preceding
