- I think that it is relevant. Not everybody knows how much training they received.

- Almost nobody does, but you're getting too deep into the weeds here. Honestly the proper encyclopedic level of detail is that he graduated from X school with Z degree on Y date; the number of hours is really irrelevant as that was set by the school and would evolve as technology changed. If you were writing an article on the changes in aeronautical education by the USN over time, these would be useful, but not here. Just because you have the information available doesn't mean it's actually relevant to the man at our level of detail.--

- You should add that Clark remained aboard Hornet as an advisor to McCain until the TG resupplied at Manus at the end of September

- Most of the stuff about McCain's great-grandchildren is trivia.
- I wouldn't call it trivia, but I am not sure it belongs here. I would prefer if it was forked off into a separate article on the McCain family.
