know that 60 years of this notable man's death will be completed within a week from now. I feel I should give this a shove ahead, to have the article in shape by then.

Yes, in 1921, and also yes to "history of entomology in this place (WA)". I think if we were talking about its general history, Western Australia wouldn't be mentioned since that'd be redundant.
