Controversial Claim Removed By Me.

"Mewing is supported by orthodontic research.[11][12][13][14]"

I removed this. Discussion welcome, but I think it should be obvious that the sources provided did not add up to a scientific consensus or backing from the mainstream orthodontic community. (Also: did any of the sources use the term 'Mewing'?)

I would characterise the sources as, 'followers of the work of John Mew repeating the same claims Mew has made'. This is not scientific evidence to support the claim, it is minority acceptance, minority support.

In the orthotropic section is references a claim of ancient humans almost always having good facial development and all teeth. This line need citations. Articles by Mew on https://orthotropics.com/ frequently reference that 1000 years ago Scandinavians had good teeth but I couldn't find this study.

Garvey 96, thanks, although in future it is best to strike your comments rather than delete them, so that other editors can see a clear history of the discussion. This can be done in the formatting options by selecting strike through. It looks like this. It's fine to completely remove comments that nobody has replied to yet. Cheers.
