When I came upon the article in October 2006 ( version at the time), I thought it need serious expansion. I reviewed the article today ( version here) and its been expanded but in a way that omits Mackovic's very public problems that led to his termination at Texas and Arizona. -- Bobak 23:39, 18 August 2007 (UTC)
This bio is a joke. I revised the bio during August to include information about his tumultuous tenure at Arizona and Kansas City along with the ONLY citations to external sources that have ever appeared in this bio. These revisions were needed because his tenure at both places included player mutinies that directly resulted in his dismissal. Any remotely complete history of his coaching career must include that info. After the revisions, someone with an obvious bias deletes the revisions which (again) were ased on verified facts and replaces it with more unsubstantiated platitudes about this mean-spirited man who has had a losing record wherever he has gone. Total Bullshit. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Beneee99 ( talk • contribs) 06:16, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
I couldn't agree more. I played for the man and he was doomed from the start with a brilliant mind but pathological ego. He would go into ranting at anyone who would not support his position. A fragile ego with extreme narcicistic tendency. So sad. His voice also went up an octave when he got mad and it was hard to keep from laughing.... :) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.134.113.199 ( talk) 04:23, 17 October 2007 (UTC)
