I have removed two references citing my own work as a source. While I'm flattered, it does not meet wikipedia's standards for a reliable source. Not that I regard myself unreliable as such, but the citations pointed to my own self-published website, in once instance to a piece reproduced from an article I had previously written for wikipedia itself! I rather doubt it's permissible for wikipedia to cite itself as an authority, even at one remove. The ultimate reliable sources for the information are standard bibliographical resources; I'll see about tracking them down and adding them in at some point.

Your rectitude is admirable. Report to the Dean's office at your leisure for your ritual spanking.

As I gather the references were added by
Rosiestep, your slap on the wrist should probably be directed in that direction.
